The Visconti/Barton Motorsports Team was formed over the course of a combined 40 years of racing.
Both John Visconti and Thomas Barton were born into the racing world with their fathers competing against each other in the 1960's. Cookie Visconti was a multi-time championship driver in three decades, the 60's , 70's , and 80's. Bob Barton who retired in the 70's was also a 3 time championship owner and driver.
John Visconti's resume' includes multiple championships in the WKA and IKF series as well as a 4th and 5th place finish in the Grand National Championships. In 2008 John set fast-time and won the U.S. Championship race in Syracuse NY.
Thomas Barton has won numerous races in the WKA and IKF series as well as the North East Championship in the LIKA division.
Both John and Tommy have not only been friends for over 26 years but have also raced as team mates since 1985.
With the 2012 season almost upon us, we have decided as a team to run for the NASCAR Legends title as well as racing our U.S. Legends car at various tracks along the east coast.
Welcome aboard our journey to compete against the best in the country in our quest for the NASCAR and US Legends Championships.
